Myofascial release

A specialised physical and manual therapy used for the treatment and rehabilitation of soft tissue and fascial tension, this involves stretching the fascia (connective tissue fibres) and releasing bonds, integument and muscles. The goal is to eliminate pain, as well as increase your range of motion and your sense of balance.

Jane has been trained in the renowned John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach ®. This involves applying compression in various directions and skin rolling without the use of oils or lotions. She will place her hands onto your body and warm the tissue and fascia underneath, allowing the body to release its tension.
